the second video was VERY informative... from watching the first video i thought that we was more or less just pretending to play guitar and doing a bad job faking it... but after watching the 2nd i actually understood what he was doing and the annoyance level dropped 10 fold :)

he's far from my favorite, but i dont mind him :) my annoyance is with people who pretend to play real instruments (as opposed to say, air-guitar) and do so without even the vaguest sense of realism. Then I found out in the second video that his strumming was intended to carry the effect of a snare drum. When watched/listened to with that in mind, he actually achieves the effect rather well. ^.^
