Merry Christmas

My sister and her husband came yesterday and today we made all the Finnish Christmas foods from scratch, like lanttulaatikko (rutabaga casserole), porkkanalaatikko (carrot casserole), and perunalaatikko (potato casserole). The tree has been decorated and the ham will be picked up tomorrow morning. We've made the dough for the gingerbread cookies and we'll make them tomorrow, decorate them Tuesday. We spent the day listening to John Denver & The Muppets singing Christmas songs. All in all, very relaxing and blissful. I hope you all have wonderful holidays with your families and friends as well.

Big hugs,
Anniina
