Trying to Emulate Cummings

A friend commissioned a poem from me in the style of e.e. cummings. It was quite difficult, since my muse usually brings me poems of a different kind, as those of you who've had to put up with my poetic outpourings for some time already know. On the other hand, it was quite exhilarating, because my mind was exploring new territory. The commissioned poem was not worth posting here, but I couldn't stop myself and I wrote a second one, which I'll share with you. The first line is 'borrowed' from cummings, but what follows is mine:

I like it. But then again, I'm a sucker for Cummings. I especially like the next-to-last stanza.
